Asia's first Philippe Starck designed boutique hotel "J Plus" went through a total image makeover of the lobby, rooms as well as exterior building façade with graffiti by renowned British graffiti artists.
J Plus came back to Hwang Concepts to update their special press kit to reflect the new look and feel. Again we worked closely with General Manager Vivian Chau and her team to create another unique, memorable piece that the media and VIPs won't forget and want to keep, feel and touch.
To smoothly evolve the brand, we kept some consistency with the previous kit by staying with the same square size and shape as well as using graphic patterns on the cover that are inspired from the new interior designs. Bold gold foil stamping and glossy spot UV graphics on jet black fancy paper convey the key colors of the new brand image. The iconic Philippe Starck gold "hand" chair in the lobby is reproduced in print as a 3D pop-up in the folded leaflet.
The new press kit was again well-received by the press as a must-keep, reconfirming J Plus as a unique, special boutique hotel that is never dull with a high percentage of repeat long-time customers.
